- I nomi originali dei tre gattini sono un omaggio alla cantante Maria Callas (Marie), al pittore Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (Toulouse) e al compositore della Marsigliese Hector Berlioz (Berlioz). In Italia si sono scelti nomi più conosciuti, quali Minou (soprano) per Marie, Matisse per Toulouse e Bizet per Berlioz. - Louis Armstrong avrebbe dovuto interpretare Scat Cat nella versione originale del film, (ecco il perché della tromba) ma poi abbandonò il progetto. - La canzone cult "Ev'rybody Wants to Be a Cat" è stata scritta da Floyd Huddleston e Al Rinker. Thomas O'Malley è di Terry Gilkyson. I "fratelli Sherman" (Richard & Robert) hanno composto The Aristocats, She Never Felt Alone e Scales and Arpeggios. - Maurice Chevalier canta la canzone dei titoli di testa (The Aristocats) nella versione francese e in quella originale. In quest’ultima, Chevalier canta prima in inglese e termina in francese. Fu il suo ultimo lavoro e morì poco tempo dopo. La versione italiana originale era uguale a quella francese (tutta la canzone in francese), ma oggi è stata sostituita dalla versione inglese.
Nota:
Carmen è un'opera lirica in quattro atti di Georges Bizet, su libretto di Henri Meilhac e Ludovic Halévy. Tratta dalla novella omonima di Prosper Mérimée (1845), ne apporta delle modifiche salienti tra cui l'introduzione dei personaggi di Escamillo e Micaela e il carattere di Don José, nel romanzo descritto come un bandito rozzo e brutale.
Al libretto collaborò lo stesso Bizet che scrisse anche le parole della celebre "habanera".
La sua prima rappresentazione avvenne all'Opéra-Comique di Parigi il 3 marzo 1875. Inizialmente l'opera non ebbe grande successo così che Bizet, morto tre mesi dopo la prima rappresentazione, non poté vederne la fortuna. Della Carmen esistono diverse edizioni, che variano soprattutto in occasione dei recitativi e del duello fra José ed Escamillo. Questo perché la genesi dell'opera è stata piuttosto tormentata: Bizet, dopo il fallimento della prima edizione come Opera Comique, tagliò molti recitativi e modificò diverse parti, così oggi le esecuzioni sono diverse fra di loro. Sul Disney Digital Forum, Lino ha inserito la copertina della musicassetta anni '80 dalla quale si evince che il titolo italiano di Thomas O'Malley Cat è Romeo Swing (e non "Romeo's" come avevo precedentemente indicato).
Corretto, come vedete, è invece Concertino a 4 zampe (io pensavo "quattro").
Veniamo ai titoli di testa. Come diceva nelle note Simitrilli, in origine la versione italiana era tutta in francese; è solo dall'ultima riedizione cinematografica (anni '90) in poi che si è optato per la versione in inglese che ha solo l'ultima parte in francese.

Purtroppo esiste una versione interamente in inglese... Ancora il CD "Tutto Disney!" di cui ti ho scritto l'altro ieri (CD 1, track 7), e che si sta rivelando una fonte infinita di problemi! Ecco il testo (ho appena controllato personalmente):
