- L'edizione italiana speciale in DVD del film, pubblicata nell'ottobre 2004, presenta fra i contenuti extra una versione speciale del brano "Il mondo è mio" eseguita da Gigi D'Alessio e Anna Tatangelo.

**-Nella versione originale, una parte della canzone "Arabian Nights" (Notti d'Oriente) è stata censurata: i seguenti versi «Where they'll cut off your ear if they don't like your face / It's barbaric, but, hey, it's home.» («Dove ti tagliano un orecchio se hai un viso che non gli piace / è barbaro, ma, ehi, è casa mia.») furono cambiati a partire dal luglio 1993 in «Where it's flat and immense and the heat is intense / It's barbaric, but, hey, it's home.» («Dove tutto è piatto e immenso e il calore è intenso / è barbaro, ma, ehi, è casa mia.»), inseguito a proteste dell'ADC (American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee).
La versione francese non ha avuto questo problema («Moi je viens d'un pays de désert infini / Où les caravanes révent et flanent / Où, pendant ton sommeil / Les serpents t'ensorcellent ! / C'est bizarre çà ? Mais, eh, c'est chez moi!» = «Vengo da un Paese di deserto infinito / in cui le carovane sognano e vanno a zonzo, / in cui durante il sonno / i serpenti ti stregano / è bizzarro, ma, ehi, è casa mia!»), contrariamente alla versione francese del Québéc («On vous coupe les oreilles si votre air nous r'vient pas / C'est barbare mais on se sent chez soi!» = «Vi tagliamo le orecchie se non ci piacete / è barbaro ma ci sentiamo a casa nostra) le cui parole furono cambiate per l’uscita in DVD.
Lo stesso è accaduto alla versione italiana che da «E ti trovi in galera anche senza un perché, che barbarie, ma è la mia tribù» è diventata «C’è un deserto immenso, un calore intenso, non è facile ma io ci vivo laggiù»
